Tooth-colored fillings are made from durable plastics called composite resins that your dentist is able to match closely to your original tooth color and bond to your tooth. Bonding of composite resins is used for several cosmetic dental procedures including closing gaps between teeth, repairing cracked or chipped teeth, repairing decayed teeth, and changing the color of discolored teeth.
